Who We Are
Inspired by the honeybee, we are a research-driven architectural design workshop focused on creating Arcs, compact and portable structures that support Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM), conservation, eco-tourism, and community development across Namibia. Together, these Arcs form interconnected communities known as Arc-Hives, designed to strengthen the relationship between people, nature, and sustainable livelihoods.
Our Arc-Hives embrace a closed-loop approach to design and conservation. The hexagon is our Arc, the hive is our Arc-Hive, and the honeybees represent the communities who work together to protect and sustain Namibia's natural resources for future generations.

Our goal is to support community conservation through the design of functional and sustainable conservancy facilities, while promoting eco-tourism deveopment.

What We Do
We design sustainable, community-centered infrastructure for conservancies based on research. Our work includes conservancy offices, visitor centers, eco-lodges, campsites, community facilities, and tourism infrastructure that support conservation, CBNRM, and local economic development.
Our Target
Our Target
Namibian conservancies and community conservation organizations
We work primarily with conservancies, community-based organizations, conservation NGOs, and conservation partners across Namibia. Our focus is on supporting communities that manage and benefit from natural resources through sustainable design and development.
